Bio:
I'm a Drupal developer and community organizer using social media, and work exclusively with nonprofits and activists in those fields. For more, see Rootwork.org. I co-organize PDXTech4Good in Portland, OR. I co-founded the Genocide Intervention Network (now United to End Genocide) and currently serve as the online communications associate for the Fellowship of Reconciliation. I've presented in the past at the Nonprofit Technology Conference, the U.S. Social Forum, the New Organizing Institute, and the Gandhi-King Conference. I was the frontend track chair at Drupalcon Portland 2013. I have a background in community organizing, and sit on the board of the Peace and Justice Studies Association, and the American Friends Service Committee's Nobel Peace Prize nominating committee. I'm also a semi-professional handbell musician. (No, really.)
